Do we need to supplement healthy food?

Grandpa’s place, a blog, is running a three-part series on the 29 healthiest foods on the planet. (Though “on the planet” seems a little redundant, don’t you think?)

This is, if you’ll pardon the pun, good food for thought. However, we should also consider the fact that modern pesticide use and nutrient depletion of soils through overfarming have weakened some of the effects of these otherwise healthy foods. In other words, one tomato isn’t necessarily like another in its nutritive value.
